An Elk River 15 year old sits in a local hospital recovering from serious injuries following a hit and run. The accident happened on Sunday evening and the driver accused of hitting him is still on the lam.

WCCO reports that Cody Starke was walking home from Walmart with his cousin, who had crossed the street and was waiting for Cody, when he heard his cousin shout to him.
